VARIETY SUNSHINE COACHES
Ford Motor Company and the “Variety Sunshine Coach Program” For over 20 years, Variety The Children’s Charity of Memphis, through the generosity of the Ford Motor Company, has been able to present two new Sunshine Coaches (15 passenger vans) annually to either a child caring and/or a child serving agency. The vans are presented to the charity in honor of living members who have done and continue to do so much for Variety, and in memory of deceased members or friends of Variety who have meant so much to Tent 20. Past Recipients of the Variety Sunshine Coaches Program in Memphis have been; Porter-Leath Children’s Center, St. Peters Home for Girls, Goodwill Homes Children’s Services, Baddour Center, Youth Villages, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Memphis, Catholic Charities, Youth Services, Girls Inc., Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, Hope House Day Care, Al Chymia Shrine Temple Children’s Burn Unit and Madonna Learning Center.
