ALL FUNDING REQUESTS: The primary objective of The Variety Club of Memphis & Variety The Children’s Charity is to award funds to benefit physically and/or mentally— and/or disadvantaged children throughout the Memphis and Mid-South area. Preference is normally given to applications whose funding will do the most good for as many children as possible. Only organizations to benefit children in need are eligible for funding from Variety. Variety is unable to grant funds to individuals. Funds awarded are determined by the Variety Board of Directors—Variety Heart Committee. The applicant must possess all of the criteria established by the Committee and must be deserving of support by Variety. APPLICATION PROCESS: All applications must be mailed to the Variety office. It is not procedure to schedule in person conferences. Therefore, every effort should be made to make the application as complete and informative as possible. The Board Heart Committee will review and evaluate all applications. The awarding of funds or the rejection of applications will be done so by letter from Variety.
