Sponsors: Kroger and the Honeysuckle White Turkey National “More To Share Program” donating 5,000 pounds of Honeysuckle White Turkeys to help Variety in Memphis, feed those in need. Holiday Christmas Food Basket: Dec. 15, Despite the rain and lines of cars that never ended, an army of Variety volunteers jumped right in to help distribute enough food to feed 1200 children and their families Christmas dinner and food for a week while home for the holidays. Over the past 16 years (1991) Variety will have handed out some 5,000 holiday baskets of food providing some 50,000 meals at Christmas time. THANK YOU ….. SPONSORS & VOLUNTEERS !! |
